Fresh from New Balance, a preview of the running shoes to look forward to this Fall!
Don’t forget to check out our previews of the Nike Free line, Saucony Summer 2016 and Brooks Fall 2016!
New Balance Vazee 2090
Launching July 1st for $150, the Vazee 2090 represents the pinnacle of speed in the Vazee collection.
The midsole sees a mix of N2, nitrogen infused TPU and REVlite, while the upper is designed to fit a variety of foot shapes while allowing for stretch and return.
New Balance 1260v6
Renewed for its 6th edition is the 1260 – NB premium stability shoe. This edition promises to emphasize cushioning in addition to support.
The midsole sees a layer of ABZORB covering the dual-density foam application underneath to deliver a soft feeling under foot. N2 pod in the heel softens the impact for heavy strikers.
The upper is made of an engineered mesh that is supportive mid-foot and that allows the toes to splay.
The 1260v6 launches in July for a recommended retail price of $150
New Balance Fresh Foam Gobi
The Fresh Foam Gobi is an all new model for 2016. It is meant as an all-terrain shoe to take the runner from road to trail. Also available in July, it will retail at $95.
The Gobi borrows the midsole from the Fresh Foam Zante while adding an appropriate outsole.
New Balance Vazee Pace v2
The Vazee Pace v2 launches in July 2016 at a recommended retail price of $109.95.
Championed by a responsive REVlite midsole for a lightweight and responsive ride, the Vazee Pace v2 features slightly more blown rubber coverage in the forefoot for enhanced longevity.
The upper is all new with a bootie construction to provide a “second skin” feeling.
New Balance Vazee Rush v2
Last in this preview the Vazee Rush v2. Launch (guess when) is July 2016 for a RRP of $89.95.
The Vazee Rush v2 introduces a new midsole foam material called Rapid Rebound. According to NB, this material provides substantially more rebound than New Balance’s standard performance foams. The upper includes a new 3-layer mesh upper that provides support while remaining lightweight and breathable. With a midfoot saddle and no-sew bootie construction, it seems to provide quite some engineering for such a low price. We’re eager to test them.
